ANGELS                  Gracious Voices of African Children

When you listen to the Angels sing they invariably give cause for silent reflection. Attempts to describe them range from hushed admiration to “Simply amazing!” –outstanding accolades considering many of these gifted children live surrounded by tragedy.  Hardship and suffering affects their villages as disease rages through their community with mindless thought of whom it touches, often taking family and friends away from them long before they have a chance to blossom into Africa’s new generation. But when the Angels burst into song, their voices soar with passion and hope, holding audiences spellbound by their charm and charisma.

 Angels encourages hope and vision in children from disadvantaged villages worldwide. Their inspirational musical and dance performances captivate and transfix audiences with messages of hope and inspiration. Their work enables them to help others less fortunate by raising much needed funds from their tours - enhancing the children's impoverished communities with relief, development and protection programmes.

Angels puts emphasis and focus on bringing together peer groups from different cultures, offering a unique opportunity, not only to those children performing, but also to their audiences, uplifting and enriching the lives and experiences of those watching.  The 2007 tour included performing to a sell out audience with the students of one of the UK’s largest and well-known Independent Schools.  The tour also included school workshops around the country and one of many testimonials was that, "it added educational value and provided an invaluable opportunity to extend the children's understanding of African lifestyle and culture"
